Adding Color to Brioche Stitches

The fun can begin! Adding color is
always a new adventure.

While experimenting with plain brioche
stitch by adding stripes of color, blocks
of color and layers of color, the design
possibilities became enormous.
Then multiplying those possibilities
by working in different brioche stitch
variations, the potential for interesting
stitches increased even more.
I then tried combining two different
brioche stitches and adding color as
well. Great fun.

The new pages are in Adding Color
and Stitch Variations in Color.
Hopefully there is enough new
information for you to try your hand
at colorful brioche.

If you have created an interesting
color experiment involving a brioche
stitch and would like to share it on
this site, please write to me and I will
create a page acknowledging you as its
author and share it with the rest of the
knitting world.

Since it took me forever to add these
pages, I am just as slow about putting
up some patterns involving brioche
and color. I have many but writing up
a pattern in various sizes and making
sure that the information is correct
always takes some time. I will do my
best, however, to get a few patterns
up soon.
